Group Ride—01/30/10

11:00 am—Paul, Bob, and me snowshoed in deepish snow to the beaver dam close to the big wide open tundra.  The dog was happy to be behind someone breaking trail.  It was a little less deep in the trees, and we used our ski tracks from several weeks ago (or longer) to help us get to the creek without too much zigzagging.  Caution was used crossing the creek, except for when Bob found a nice soft spot.  We didn’t follow.  He took some pics to send back home—neither Paul or me can seem to remember our cameras.  It was its usual scenic self and when the snow is nicely ski-able, we’d like to really create a loop, without getting disoriented.
