Loose Dog Report—02/03/10

Way home, Mile 4.8 Lake Road, northbound—young black lab mix came running out of Mr. Clark’s driveway, running after, next to, ahead of, and on the other side of the road from me, skidding on the ice, past Happy Tails (she took a short detour there), then on to Beatrice’s driveway, where she discovered her young loose dog, and finally stopped chasing me.  I pedaled home, and shortly thereafter her owner knocked at my door looking for her—I suggested a running line, and told him she might be at Beatrice’s.
